Hailed as the "gay Dave Barry," MARC ACITO is a syndicated humorist, whose column, The Gospel According to Marc, appears in nineteen newspapers, including the Chicago Free Press and Outword-Los Angeles. After being kicked out of one of the finest drama schools in the country, he went on to sing roles with major opera companies, including Seattle Opera. He lives in Portland, Oregon. LIZ DUBELMAN is the founder of VidLit. Her pre-digital career included ten years in film production. Her television work won her two Emmys -- one as a producer and one as a director. She was the first woman member of the labor negotiating committee of I.A.T.S.E., New York local 644 (cinematographers), and is an establishing member of Women in New Technology. She has been consultant to all of the major studios in the area of digital rights and Internet content. Ms. Dubelman is a graduate of Hampshire College. PACA THOMAS (pronounced PAY-ka) has spent the better part of his adult life finding ways to make ADD profitable. Educated in Theatre and Music, he has alternately and coincidentally made his way as an actor, singer, composer, lyricist, artist, and sound designer. In the guise of the latter, his work at Advantage Audio, including countless projects for Disney, Universal, Sony, and Dreamworks in animation sound has garnered him five Emmy awards and more than a dozen nominations for the MPSE Golden Reel award. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, writer/manager Sheri Anderson Thomas, and a bunch of Scottish Fold cats. Technically, BETTY DYLAN are DAN & VICKIE DUBELMAN, a singer/songwriter duo known to work with superb musicians both on the road and in the studio. They are also husband and wife, he a New Yorker, she from Bakersfield California, whose musical and personal worlds collided in LA. Dan, known as "Dr. Dan," plays lead guitar, writes the lion's share of the music and lyrics, and performs vocals. Vickie plays rhythm guitar and performs vocals. DAN DUBELMAN grew up on a movie set. At 5 years old, Dan won a Golden Lion at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the "Sharing" commercial for Cracker Jacks. He began playing music as a teenager and by the time he got to Cornell he was playing more than he was studying (but still managed to make the Dean's List). Dan applied to get into Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, Alison Lurie's elite class for fiction. Accepted, he began to write "American Trash," a novella. This piece earned him a scholarship and fellowship to Johns Hopkins’ world-famous fiction program under John Barth. He currently resides in Nashville and tours with his band Betty Dylan. VENETA MASSON has practiced as a registered nurse for 35 years in communities, homes and hospitals both in the United States and abroad.  In 1978, she helped to found a small, inner-city clinic in Washington, D.C. called Community Medical Care.  For the next seventeen years, she was both family nurse practitioner and director of CMC.  She also began to write essays and poems from her clinic experiences.  Since leaving Community Medical Care, she has published two books.  Rehab at the Florida Avenue Grill is a collection of poems about some of those patients whose lives changed hers.  Ninth Street Notebook—Voice of a Nurse in the City, winner of an American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year award for 2001, contains lessons, stories and reflections on nursing and health care. 

Veneta currently serves as a contributing editor of the American Journal of Nursing while continuing her exploration of healing art in all its forms. 

PAUL SLANSKY is a humor writer for The New Yorker. His work has also appeared in, among other publications, The New York Observer, Spy, The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, Newsweek, and Esquire, where he was a longtime contributor to the annual “Dubious Achievement Awards.” He is the author of The Clothes Have No Emperor, a best-selling book about the Reagan presidency. CINDY LIGHTFORD discovered and developed a passion for digital art in the last two years, having worked in the traditional mediums of oil and pastel since childhood. She was employed as a professional model for 11 years, working in television, print and runway. DAVID REEDY has a variety of experience in Website Design, Post–Production/Motion graphics, Graphic Design, CD-ROM and DVD presentations. He studied product design at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Institute of Design  and degreed at the  International Academy of Merchandising and Design in New Media.
